For connection of almost any aux (audio) source, to the newer Alpine "Full Speed" head units (2008 onwards), MP3 players, laptops, portable CD / DVD, video game stations, etc. Listen to music from your portable MP3 player through your Alpine Full Speed head unit or AV unit. 

Your Alpine head unit MUST have the "D shaped" connection at the back of the car stereo

PLEASE NOTE You need to select "Aux+" from your headunit's Setup Menu to disable Full Speed for iPod and enable Full speed Aux-in.
